This week some classes were lucky enough to visit Manor Park library to learn about World Book Day and why it is celebrated. They were allowed to read some of the wonderful books in the library and find out about why reading is so important.
This week Dodger the Dog visited Monega Primary School. He was reading his new book about wellbeing with the children. All the children had a great time and were excited to meet him. Dodger also gave every child a goody bag and a free download of his book!
Well done to all the children who have recently received reading certificates from their teacher! Certificates are earned by children for reading books and completing their reading journals. After 100 entries children receive a gold certificate and a book to keep! Pictured are some of our happy readers with their certificates.
